DAN TEICHER is an award winning composer for FIlm, Television, and commercials. His music has been featured in international campaigns for clients including Adidas, GE, Land Rover, Google, Microsoft, Estée Lauder, Toyota, Motorola, The New York Times, HBO and FOX. DAN HAS SCORED AWARD WINNING FILMS PREMIERED AT SUNDANCE, TRIBECA, AND MANY OTHER FILM FESTIVALS, and his work has been nominated for an emmy. He has ALSO collaborated with Oscar Winning directors Fernando Meirelles AND Darren ArOnofsky/PROTOZOA PICTURES and number one major label recording artists.
In addition to composing, Dan is the FOUNDER OF NEW AMSTERDAM SOUND TECHNOLOGIES, CREATING CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY FOR IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES, AND founding guitarisT AND producer of The Ludlow Thieves, a band based in New York city (featuring his wife, laura, on vocals). HE IS ALSO CO-FOUNDER OF IMMERSIVE MUSIC AND SOUND, A COMPANY FOCUSED ON NEXT-GENERATION MUSIC AND SOUND FOR VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS AND AUGMENTED REALITY.
